Poetic Prescriptions

In echoes of uncertainty, facing illness’ strife,

As life runs dry and shadows cloak our life.

In those echoes, we hear Eleos’ melody near,

Shared burdens, woven resilience, whispers clear.

Within this labyrinth, a flicker, a glint,

Words, though heavy, carry hope’s imprint.

Through anguish’s labyrinth, a whisper, a thread,

We find solace in words where healing’s wed.

Words, the remedy when Asclepius fails,

Healing souls, stitching emotional trails.

The sunflower blooms in the sun all bright,

Wounds of the illness put up a godly fight.

Like water for the parched, a shelter in rain,

They carry us through, easing the pain.

Painting the canvas our own starry night toon,

Words of hope lift us to that yellow crescent moon.

Patch’s clown work, a symphony play,

Filling with laughter and tears of blithe.

In words, in jest, in sincere refrain,

Lies the power to heal life’s strain.

When pills fall short and potions wane,

These words persist, a gentle reign.

A touch of empathy, a spoken thought,

Where medicine ends, these words are sought.
